World Class Beauty Queens: Hello Suzann thank you for taking the time to Interview with us. Please tell us about yourself.
I am a very positive person. I motivate everyone around me and I have been told that I make a great role model for the people of the business world and also in the community. I have a sense of humor and know how to make people laugh. I have a lot of confidence, self-discipline and the drive to succeed with everything that I associate myself with. I am a very artistic person and enjoy painting, design and art. I also love reading and learning about everyday life. Being very inquisitive, I enjoy reading newspapers and watching the news. I am a nature lover and together with my husband and two sons, go for walks along our beautiful nature paths. We are a very close family and also enjoy travelling the world together and explore new places. I love all the different cultures and find different nationalities very interesting.
World Class Beauty Queens: To those unfamiliar with your pageant system please tell us what is it about?
Love, laughter and joy must be part of each and everyone’s life. We have the most beautiful country in the World and it makes me proud to be able to make a difference by encouraging greater family values as everyone needs love and a secure environment. We should all be more tolerant towards all walks of life and I believe, because of my love for our World and our people that I can make a contribution. One of my biggest goals is to motivate and empower women. Another goal, which lies close to my heart, is to assist people infected with the HIV virus. Child abuse is one of the World’s biggest issues and I am happy to motivate and assist in these children’s well-being.
World Class Beauty Queens: How was the experience during the competition?
It was an experience of a lifetime. I learned a lot, experience love but also heartache. I just knew that there are people that need upliftment.
World Class Beauty Queens: What were you judged on during the competition?
I obtained the highest score overall and won the categories of “People’s choice”, “Ambassador for Pageant”, “Projects attended to” and “Overall outlook on life”. Please see the attached portfolio disc hereto.
World Class Beauty Queens: Which part of the competition was your favorite?
I truly enjoyed helping with the community work and supporting their needs. I love children and love working with them. We had fun projects, such as painting a school and it was a fantastic experience working alongside all the other finalists. I am a teamplayer and consider it an experience of a lifetime. I learnt a lot, such as not taking things for granted and it was truly a humbling experience. Everything that I have and am is through the Grace of God.
World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do your first pageant?
Since 2004 I have been involved in charities and even started my own charity fund. I have been doing it ever since and in 2006 I realized I could make much more of a difference being a role model or sorts. I then entered my first pageant in 2006 and I won. Since then I have not looked back and used my influence as a platform to help people in need.
World Class Beauty Queens: What made you decide to compete for your title?
I believed in myself and knew that I’d be able to make a difference. We all have a purpose in life.

Live Now, Give Now, Love Now – Abused woman and children Being a woman and mother myself, as well as the love that I have for children inspired me to reach out and try and make a difference in their lives. I detest abuse in any form, especially towards the weaker of our species.

World Class Beauty Queens: We want to hear in your own words how did it feel to hear your name as a winner?
I was overwhelmed, but calm and collected. It was a wonderful feeling because I knew what I could achieve with my new title.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does the crown and sash symbolizes to you?
To me, it is not about the crown/sash or title – but the platform that I have been using to reach my goals.

I believe that it means that you truly have to aspire to be a role model for the community at all times.
