Hobbies: Spending time with my awesome family, perfecting my craft in the world of pageantry, volunteering and working out.
Talent: Making people laugh and smile but I think singing will be my Stage what my heart & gut is speaking to me at this moment.
Favorite place to visit: Anywhere in the actual country (Northeast/East Texas) spending time with my mom & dad’s side of the family.

Douglas: “My title is Mr. North America United United Nations 2017 and my ultimate dream is become the next Mr. United Nations 2017.
World Class Kings Magazine: What inspired you to do pageants?
Douglas: My late uncle Travis Oneal Willis was a Producer/Director of pageants in college and was also an Actor so I think I got the creative side of my personality from him.
World Class Kings Magazine: What do pageants mean to you?
Douglas: Pageants have given me the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, especially young people. It has also gives me a platform to speak out on issues that are important to me. This is a way for me to give of myself to
World Class Kings Magazine: What makes you a winner?
Douglas: My spirit and the determination never to give up regardless the obstacles I may face along the way.
World Class Kings Magazine: Please tell us about your platform, appearances and achievements.
Douglas: My platform focuses on Family Advocacy focusing on families affected by Alcoholism, Domestic Violence & Suicide. As Mr. North America United Nations i’ve been honored by being named a National Goodwill Ambassador for the HoneyDrops Foundation which is a non-profit organization designed to help remove the stigmas & stereotypes of Domestic Violence in the African/African American communities.
World Class Kings Magazine: What part of the competition you find most exciting?
Douglas: I look forward to putting my best foot forward in every phase of competition. especially the National Costume competition where I get to express the pride I have in my state & country.
World Class Kings Magazine: What do you plan in evening wear competition?
Douglas: I’ve been blessed to have my wardrobe competition sponsored and custom designed and created for me by Pakistani Designer Tayyab Bombal. So my Formal Wear look will be a look that speaks to the person I am which is an individual whose classy, confident, & comfortable in his own skin.
World Class Kings Magazine: What is your secret technique to connect with judges?
Douglas: It’s a secret, lol
World Class Kings Magazine: How often do you practice your pageant walk?
Douglas: Every single day whether i’m at work or at home practicing in my den.
World Class Kings Magazine: How do you keep your self esteem high.
Douglas: My friends/family on social media keep me pumped up & motivated with their daily words of encouragement and knowing that i’m a child of GOD and that he’ll never deny me of my dreams and aspirations.
World Class Kings Magazine: How do you stay up to date on current World events?
Douglas: I work A LOT so I try to stay up to date by watching my favorite news shows, CNN, MSNBC and of course my local news.
World Class Kings Magazine: What does the crown symbolizes to you?
Douglas: It’s a symbol of achievement that I can share with others to let them know their dreams can become reality as well regardless of your race, age or gender.
World Class Kings Magazine: What do you plan to do if you win?
Douglas: My dream is to work in the entertainment industry so I would hopefully use the title as a stepping stone to help me with that but also use the title to continue to work and bring focus to my National Platform of Family Advocacy.
World Class Kings Magazine: What legacy would you like to leave behind?
Douglas: I would want my legacy to be one that the next Mr. United Nations would want to follow. A legacy where people were touched by my presence and moved by my work and my words.
World Class Kings Magazine: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Douglas: It allowed me to step outside my comfort zone and to become a more confident and powerful individual and to also be a positive role model for men over the age of 35-40 years of age.
