World Class Beauty Queens: What inspired you to do pageants?
Jared: Personally I never used to like beauty pageants before simply because I had a friend used to really invest a lot and in the end my he lost the competition. That really killed my spirit for modeling until one day I tried it out and wow look at where I am. I discovered that these beauty pageants are not all about just beauty but beauty with brains where one has to have a purpose and that purpose must involve giving back to society and that’s the most touching part that made me love them.
World Class Beauty Queens: What do pageants mean to you?
Jared: To me pageants mean Beauty with a purpose, Beauty with Brains all with an aim of giving back to society and empowering the youth and at the same time be an ambassador to promote whatever brand one represents.
World Class Beauty Queens: What makes you a winner?
Jared: Well for me I could say first its discipline, hard work and commitment together with elegance and absolute faith in delivering more than the obvious.
World Class Beauty Queens: Please tell us about your platform, appearances and
Jared: Modeling to me has never been an easy journey to where I am and where I am headed, I have had my ups and down but most importantly I never gave up no matter how many rejections I got, I still believed I have a lot to offer in the modeling industry. Through faith, hard work, determination and commitment, was able to transform myself to who I am today and who I intend to be.
World Class Beauty Queens: What part of the competition you find most exciting?
Jared: Category where models become creative in very many ways as the make their entry to the stage.
World Class Beauty Queens: What do you plan in evening wear competition?
Jared: I plan to come out with something out of the ordinary not necessary a complete suit but let’s wait for the surprise.
World Class Beauty Queens: What is your secret technique to connect with judges?
Jared: Maintaining eye contact, self confidence and making a bold stage appearance for them to notice me, also putting work on my walk.
World Class Beauty Queens: How often do you practice your pageant walk?
Jared: Three to four times a week where I just practice even as I walk down the street.
World Class Beauty Queens: How do you keep your self esteem high?
Jared: By keeping it in mind that as much as it is a competition, I don’t forget that I am a model and this is what I love doing so when I go on stage I present myself in the best way possible by rocking that runway because I love doing it. That is how I keep my self esteem high.
World Class Beauty Queens: How do you stay up to date on current World events?
Jared: Keeping tabs on latest news on social media, watching news, subscribing to
important updates and following up on them.
World Class Beauty Queens: What does the crown symbolizes to you?
Jared: the crow to me it symbolizes trust, leadership and accountability. When one is awarded that crown, you are given an opportunity to be an ambassador and you are entrusted to carry out your duties and being accountable for each and every decision you make in giving back to society.
World Class Beauty Queens: What do you plan to do if you win?
Jared: personally I have a lot of projects in mind that involve environmental protection and giving back to society, if I win, my first theme will be” save a child save the future” where it involves street children / families.
World Class Beauty Queens: What legacy would you like to leave behind?
Jared: I would like to set a pace that has never been set before, leave a legacy that
would be challenging for the next winners to beat, this will make them work towards trying to do more that what I would have done. And also empower the youth towards doing good and believing in themselves.
World Class Beauty Queens: How did competing in pageants helped your life?
Jared: I have personally learnt a lot from these kinds of competitions, it has given me exposure, it has taught me how to see the world in a different perspective and most
importantly it has taught me how to be responsible.
